HOW TO BRAINWASH A PROSPECT INTO BUYING ANYTHING
How this for creative marketing?
The owner of a greenhouse asked his clerk, "Are you sure he can afford this?" in front of
the customer.
Okay, you're probably thinking the owner needs a lesson in customer service.
There's no doubt it could have been said without offending the prospect.
But... there's a little known secret used by marketers called the "negative sell".
It's a preplanned strategy to offend the prospect to buy almost anything.
For example, when a golf pro tells a country club member not to buy a certain line of
expensive golf clubs, the implication is that the clubs are beyond the budget or the talent
of the member, or both. These members, armed with rather large egos, are offended and
usually demand the pro sell them the clubs at once.
Some call it ‘Selling By Insult’; I call it ‘Brainwashing’ because it makes the prospect
believe they want to buy what you want to sell them.
Consider implementing these tips if you operate a business using mailing lists, consumer mailing lists, opportunity seeker mailing lists or MLM mailing lists to target Opportunity Seekers, Business Opportunity Seekers, MLM Opportunity Seekers and Home Based Business Opportunity Seekers and want to make more money than you are currently making.
